In addition to creating Canada’s most iconic wines, Trius Winery has earned a reputation for blending wine, food and the arts to create some of Canada’s most iconic wine country experiences. With a diverse range of interactive tasting and touring experiences and Chef Dodd’s signature dining events, there is truly always something happening at Trius Winery.
Trius winery is a lovely place to visit and to sample and purchase wine. There are also many lovely gift items there. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Executive Chef Frank Dodd
Since Frank’s graduation in 1991 from Durham College where he took his apprenticeship, he has never stepped foot out of the kitchen. It is his true passion in life and it shows through this meticulous attention to detail in the kitchen. Working at some of the world’s finest dining establishments including: The Savoy and Dorchester Hotels in London as well as Cliveden Hotel, one of Britain’s finest country houses. Since coming to Canada in 2000, he has worked at Biff’s, Vancouver’s Wedgewood Hotel, and Langdon Hall before taking the Executive Chef position at Trius Winery Restaurant.
Chef Dodd has a passion to focus on the finest seasonal ingredients and strives to produce innovative seasonally-inspired menus that enhance Winemaker Craig McDonald's wines.

Wine tastings start at $27 for four VQA wines from our Trius Winery portfolio, or select from our premium flights. Wine Club members receive complimentary wine tastings for themselves and up to 5 guests.

Trius Winery is located at 1249 Niagara Stone Road in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Located only 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, and approximately 90 minutes from Toronto along the QEW. You can also take a 12 minute flight from Billy Bishop Airport to Niagara-on-the-Lake Airport.
